My work at the Affordable Art Fair NYC 2010
From May 6-9, some of my Softhouses and House/Boats will be available FOR PURCHASE at the Affordable Art Fair. I made a special edition of six House/Boats for the fair, and I don't think I'm going to make any more of those in the foreseeable future. So, come on down to 7 West 34th street (across from the Empire State Building) and check it out.

Connective Thread at Sweet Lorraine Gallery
I was in a really great group show from January 7 - 30, 2010, curated by Joetta Maue called "Connective Thread." Check out the the blog she wrote about my work here. There was an artists talk that I participated in, which was videotaped, so there should be some footage of that online at some point.
Special Edition for the Flux Factory
Back in November, I was asked to make a special edition of Soft Houses for the Flux Factory's upcoming fundraising scheme - a "Flux Box" with special editions by ten artists, about their new building in Long Island City. It was an honor to be asked to make something for the Flux Factory, and so I made a edition of 25 (w/2 artists proofs) little flux factories. Due to a camera malfunction, I have no photos of the pieces, but hopefully documentation will be available from the Flux Factory at some point.

It was very exciting, and Marisa invited me to show a few pieces at the New Artist Silent Auction at |http:www.likethespice.com|Like the Spice| this Sunday, April 12th. She also wrote about my work on the |http://likethespice.blogspot.com/2009/04/end-is-nigh-nigh-means-next-sunday.html |Like the Spice Blog|, which I highly recommend you check out ASAP. And if you are in New York, please come by Like the Spice, 224 Roebling Street, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm this Sunday for the New Artist Auction and the closing party for the Rachel Beach show.
